The Blue Lagoon is surrounded by a mossy lava field, offering incredible scenery, with state of the art facilities, a unique atmosphere and silica masks and water that make your skin extra firm, yet incredibly soft! For these reasons and many more, visitors from all over the world visit the Blue Lagoon daily, and many return here again and again.

For the Blue Lagoon you have the Comfort Package and you will receive entrance to the Blue Lagoon, silica mud mask, use of a towel, and a drink of your choice.

After having enjoyed all that the Blue Lagoon has to offer, you return to Reykjavík on one of the new and comfortable coaches, offering you free Wi-Fi.

The following morning after breakfast, we pick you up from your hotel or designated bus stop, we set out on your small group escorted tour, and we begin with the famous Golden Circle attractions, Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss and Geysir.

Thingvellir National Park is considered to be the birthplace of the Icelandic nation. It is where the first Icelandic parliament gathered in 930 CE. The whole area is a fantastic geological site between the splitting North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.

Next, we will head to Gullfoss, the Golden Falls, probably Iceland's most known and visited waterfall. The water of the Hvita River thrusting down the two stages is an impressive sight to see. It is then on the Geysir Geothermal area and although Geysir lays dormant, the area is home to most active hot spring in Iceland. Strokkur, which is Geysir's "little brother," erupts in boiling water every few minutes.

Next, we follow route 1 and that will lead us to the famous Seljalandsfoss waterfalls. This spectacular waterfall is great for those Instagram photos. On a clear day, you will have the opportunity to see the two surrounding glaciers and then it is onwards to the coastal village of Vik before we head to our countryside hotel in the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. We will spend the night in the Hotel Geirland where all the rooms offer tea and coffee making facilities and mountain views. The main building has a restaurant, a bar with TV and free Wi-Fi. Some of the hotels cosy rooms are set in individual cottages in the garden.

After breakfast, we head off eastwards towards the magnificent Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and nearby Diamond Beach. The lagoon is filled with icebergs of all shapes and sizes, as they glide towards the Atlantic. Many are washed ashore at the Diamond Beach, where they glitter like diamonds on the black sands. Ocean birds are plenty here and you might even spot a seal.

After Jokulsarlon, we head to the nearby Skaftafell Nature Reserve. Here, we will visit the info centre and watch a short film about the National Park to learn more about the park and the glaciers. Then, we will hike to the nearby Svartifoss waterfall, one of the most unique waterfalls in Iceland and one of the most popular sights in the park, our hike takes around two hours in all before we head back for another night in the Hotel Geirland.

After a delicious breakfast, we'll make our way along the magical South Coast of Iceland and if the road conditions allow it, we'll kick off our day with a small detour to Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon. Fjadrargljufur is a stunning canyon close to Kirkjubæjarklaustur and is where Justin Bieber’s video “I’ll Show you” was filmed. Enjoy some stunning views and tumbling waterfalls.

Our next stop will be at the iconic Eldhraun lava field, which was created in one of the greatest eruptions in recorded history and is the largest of its kind in the world. This lava field of 565 km2 is today one of the most stunningly attractive ones in Iceland.

We then head to the Katla Ice Cave, the only ice cave that can be visited all year round. You will see how the glacier opens up between blue and black ice walls providing you with a stunning entrance to the ice cave of Katla. Once inside you will see the true beauty of the cave created by the ever so powerful mother nature. The cave will leave you breathless with its beauty as you walk around, taking your time to enjoy all that the cave has to offer. Your certified glacier guide will provide you with expert information about the ice cave before you leave the cave

Next, we'll head to Reynisfjara Black Sand beach, where you can see the waves of the Atlantic Ocean in their full power. Make sure you visit the black basalt cave before you leave the beach. Reynisfjara is famous for its basalt columns just off the shore, called the Reynisdrangar.

After Reynisfjara, we'll visit the impressive 60m Skógafoss waterfall. Brave the 527 steps leading to the fantastic panoramic view from the top. We then head to our hotel for the night, which will be the Hotel Hella. Situated in Hella village, this hotel is just off Iceland’s Ring Road and offers free Wi-Fi, as well as a bar and lounge. The brightly decorated guest rooms have a private bathroom and Breakfast is served each morning in the Hotel’s dining room. A restaurant is located just across the street.

After starting our day with a delicious breakfast we head to Landmannalaugar, which is known for its natural geothermal hot springs and stunning surrounding landscape. Having the active volcano, Hekla, in its neighbourhood makes it one of Iceland´s most unique destinations.

We will set off on a 4-hour hike covering between 8km & 10km through strangely sprawling lava fields of Laugahraun, the Vondugil canyon, and the impressively saturated mountain of Brennisteinsalda. As we travel back down through the Grænagil Gorge, you'll get to see its carved characteristics as a result of the geodynamic activity of mountains, volcanoes, and glacial rivers. If there's enough time, we will climb to Blahnukur Volcano then afterward, you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the natural hot pool, where hot and cold water flows out from beneath Laugahraun.

We then make the journey back to the capital were we will arrive back in Reykjavik at around 9:00 pm and drop you off at your hotel. The next day we will transfer you back to the airport for your flight home.
