It’s difficult to know where to start really with the fantastic shopping, the wonderful restaurants from every corner of the world or more simple superb street food. Maybe  the bars and clubs of trendy Soho and the meatpacker district, Central Park or one of the many, many landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty, The Empire State Building plus so much more and that’s without mentioning the bridges, the rivers, the museums and the cultural mix of the Bronx or Brooklyn.

Combine this with the relaxed capital of Iceland, Reykjavik, a world away from the Big Apple and the wonders Iceland has to offer including the chance to hunt the Northern Lights and you’ll really have a trip to last long in the memory.

You’ll depart from London for Reykjavik where you’ll spend 4 nights in either a 3* or 4* Hotel in Reykjavik on a room only basis. From here on the night of your choice well take you away from the city and the light pollution to search for the amazing Northern Lights.

We search for the rare and elusive northern lights (Aurora Borealis) in the skies around Reykjavík on this all time winter bestseller! For many, seeing the Northern Lights is the reason to travel to our northern island in winter. They are mesmerizing, and a sight that will never be forgotten.

It is simple, nothing says “Icelandic Winter” like the idea of hunting for the Aurora Borealis. Created by solar storms originating from the sun, the Northern Lights need clear winter skies to be seen.

The expert operational team has decades of experience analysing weather patterns. We will review, each and everyday, the cloud forecast and the northern lights forecast in detail. We will not venture out in search of them unless we think we have good chance. This means we have a high success ratio.

All our northern lights tours are guided by one of our specially trained northern lights guides, they are both knowledgeable and helpful and will even give you tips on how to take photos of the night sky and of aurora. We offer free use of camera tripods (a must to take northern lights photos), we only have a few so if you own a tripod be sure to bring it along.

Whilst you’re in Iceland we offer a wide range of tours to get the best from your time here, bathe in the Blue Lagoon, take the Golden Circle tour and marvel at waterfalls and Geysers or maybe head out into the bay to spot the Whales.

Then it’s back to the airport, next stop New York. You’ll spend 3 Nights here in a 3* or 4* Hotel in Manhattan on a room only basis, ideal for exploring everything this city has to offer. Then it’s an overnight flight back to Keflavik Airport in Iceland for your connection back to London.
