Cruise Overview
You’ll fly from London to Reykjavik and we will transfer you to your 4* hotel for the night. The next morning after breakfast you’ll have a little time to get to know Reykjavik before embarking the Norwegian Star for an afternoon departure.
On this 10 Night cruise you’ll visit Grundarfjörður, a small fishing village on the stunning Snæfellsnes peninsula. Akureyri which is Iceland’s second largest urban area and a centre of Icelandic folk culture, sitting along the shores of one of the most breath-taking fjords in Iceland,.
You will the cruise to Norway where you will visit Kristiansund, an inviting city surrounded by astonishing natural beauty. Trondheim, the keeper of the kingdom's treasures, values, legends, religious life, national aspirations and in short, Norway's past since 997 when the Viking King, Olav Tryggvason, established this trading port and Alesund which is one Norway's most beautiful towns, renowned for its Jugend-style architecture and art nouveau style.
You then head back to Iceland after a day at sea and spend the day in Husavik, which is considered one of the best places in the world to view whales, where more than 20 species traverse Icelandic waters. Then it is onwards to Isafjordur, the largest town in Iceland's remote Westfjords's region, Ísafjörður is a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts.
You will then return to Reykjavik for a further three night stay in a 4* Hotel and you will be taken on the famous Golden Circle tour before spending sometime soaking in the Secret Lagoon before flying back to London.
