Suggested Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL IN ICELAND

Arrive in Iceland and pick up your hire car from the airport and head to the capital Reykjavik. If time allows, go for an exploration walk around Reykjavík before spending the night in a 3 or 4* hotel.

Day 2: SKAGAFJORÐUR AND GLAUMBÆR TURF FARM

After breakfast head north and stop at Skagafjörður, the valley of horses and home of Glaumbær turf farm. Make a stop at the innumerable hills at Vatnsdalshólar before heading to the North Iceland hotel where you’ll spend two nights.

Day 3: MÝVATN REGION

Spend the day discovering the magical Mývatn area. The unique landscape thats surrounding it, makes it a perfect spot for hiking. What better way to relax after the hike than to enjoy the Mývatn natural baths.

Day 4: SETTLEMENT CENTER IN BORGARNES

Head back to Reykjavík and spend the last night in a 3 or 4* hotel in the capital but first make a pit stop in Borgarnes and visit the popular Saga Settlement Centre.

Day 5: DEPART FOR HOME

If time allows: Enjoy Reykjavík, or explore the Reykjanes Peninsula with a stop at the famous Blue Lagoon for relaxation. You’ll then drop off your hire car and board your flight back home.
