Day 1 Husafell, West Iceland

Land at Keflavik International Airport and pick up your hire car and set off to the 4* Luxury Hotel Husafell in West Iceland for a 3 night stay. On your way make sure to visit the Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfall duo just six minutes from our hotel.

After you check-in experience a truly authentic Icelandic tradition by relaxing in the hotel’s outdoor geothermally heated swimming pools while breathing in the crisp, arctic air. In the evening if the Northern Lights are shining request access to the pool for the ultimate outdoor spa experience.

Day 2 Into the Ice & Lava

Iceland’s fire and ice contrasts to the extreme! Explore beneath the surface of a glacier and beneath the earth’s surface in a massive lava cave. Travel by monster-truck to Langjokull Glacier and explore the world’s largest man-made ice cave. By contrast discover the dark and quirky underworld of volcanic features inside Vidgelmir, the world’s largest lava cave. Alternatively you could head to the Golden Circle route and see some of Iceland’s most popular attractions including the Gullfoss Waterfall and the Geysir geothermal area.

Day 3 Snaefellsnes Peninsula

Uncover the countless natural wonders along Snaefellsnes Peninsula where you can expect to discover little beaches, rugged seascapes, rare plants, birdlife and seals. Visit the columnar basalt rock formation and cliffs swarming with huge colonies of birds at Arnarstapi and walk along the pebbled beach at Djupalonssandur before driving along the North Coast through lively fishing villages.

Throughout the day, enjoy the remote tranquillity of the area and the palpable force of Snaefellsjokull glacier.

Day 4 Krauma Nature Spa & Departure

After a hearty breakfast bid a fond farewell to Hotel Husafell and make your way to the newly opened Krauma Nature Baths, located only 30 minutes away in Reykholt. Krauma is a world-class wellness complex that features two saunas, a relaxation space and five outdoor nature baths fed by Europe's highest flowing hot spring, Deildartunguhver.

The drive to Keflavik International Airport is approximately two and a half hours from West Iceland where you drop off your car and catch your flight home.
