Landhotel opened in 2019 and has 69 rooms all of which are very spacious and have a fantastic view of beautiful surrounding area. The hotel´s modern Scandinavian architecture and interior is inspired from the surroundings so everywhere in the hotel you are reminded of the diverse Icelandic nature. The hotel stands in remote locaton around 2 hours’ drive from Keflavik international airport, an hour and a half from Reykjavik and 25km from Hella.

During the winter time on a clear night and the Northern Lights are showing, Landhotel is the perfect place to be.  Here is no light pollution and on those nights, the hotel will turn all the lights off at the hotel so guests can enjoy the fantastic show.

The hotel has a sauna area with two saunas, one infrared sauna and one steam sauna.

Breakfast is included during your stay.  The breakfast buffet has wide varieties of freshly baked breads, warm breakfast including scrambled eggs, bacon and hot sausages, freshly brewed coffee, cold cuts and fresh fruits and vegetables, yogurt and the Icelandic skyr with cereals, along with other Icelandic delights directly from local farmers

The hotel’s restaurant offers a quality, yet simple menu with a choice of Lamb, Chicken and the catch of the day all served up with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. The lounge bar offers a great choice of wines, spirits and local craft beers.

Standard room are very spacious with a sitting area, working desk and closet space. All the rooms have ensuite bathroom with either a shower or bathtub. From every room you have a fantastic view to the surrounding nature. Room have Free Wi-Fi, Satellite TV, USB Outlets, Telephone, Coffee &Tea making facilities, Safety deposit box & Refrigerator.
