THE DEAL

On arrival at Keflavik International airport you will meet our representatives and they will transfer you to your hotel in the Capital Reykjavik. Your 3* Hotel will be within easy reach of the cities attractions and have facilities like Satellite TV. All rooms have a private en-suite bathroom and breakfast is served each morning. After check-in the rest of the day is free for you to start discover beautiful Reykjavik.

Following day you have the plenty of spare time to explore all the delights Reykjavik has to offer and late afternoon we pick you up for an evening of relaxation. Nothing compares to revitalising body and soul than by bathing in the geothermal baths at Laugarvatn Fontana.

We drive through the beautiful UNESCO site Þingvellir National Park on our way to Laugarvatn Fontana.

Fontana has three steam rooms built over a natural hot spring and a traditional sauna along with four different hot pools. Those more adventurous can take a dip in Laugarvatn Lake and cool down between the steam baths and sauna. The steam temperatures range between 40°C and 50°C depending on the temperature of the hot springs and the weather. The steam rooms create a unique experience since you can smell the hot water boiling underneath the grids in the floor. The traditional sauna has a lower humidity than the steam rooms, but the temperature is higher or between 80°C and 90°C.

The three connected outdoor mineral baths vary in depth, size and temperature. It is perfect to relax and socialise. From the hot tub, you can see a panoramic view of the countryside around Fontana and the northern lights if you are lucky and they show up early. Sóley Organics shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner is available for all in the changing rooms.

On route back to Reykjavík, we go on a northern lights hunt but since they‘re a natural phenomenon, sightings are not guaranteed.

The following day you’re free to choose what time you wish to soak in the waters of the Blue Lagoon, one of the wonders of the world, during your visit in Iceland. The Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland's most famous tourist attractions and considered by many to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, as well as an unmissable part of any visit to Iceland.

The Blue Lagoon is surrounded by a mossy lava field, offering incredible scenery, with state of the art facilities, a unique atmosphere and silica masks and water that make your skin extra firm, yet incredibly soft! For these reasons and many more, visitors from all over the world visit the Blue Lagoon daily, and many return here again and again.

For the Blue Lagoon you have the Comfort Package and you will receive entrance to the Blue Lagoon, silica mud mask, use of a towel, and a drink of your choice. After having enjoyed all that the Blue Lagoon has to offer, you return to Reykjavík on one of the new and comfortable coaches, offering you free Wi-Fi. You’re free to spend as much time as you wish at the Blue Lagoon and join one of the regular shuttles back to Reykjavik.

Can you keep a secret? On day four we take you on the Golden Circle Classic which is our bestselling day tour! Follow in the footsteps of the Vikings of old as you walk down into the rift valley where the American and Eurasian continental plates are literally pulling apart at Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of the oldest existing parliament. Witness the steaming geothermal springs as the ground trembles and hot water spouts spectacularly skywards from the famous Strokkur Geyser at home of the one-and-only original geyser and Iceland's most iconic natural attraction.

Experience the magnificence and power of Gullfoss Waterfall, a set of glacial river cascades falling 32 meters into a narrow canyon with a thunderous roar. Þingvellir National Park

Located on the northern shores of Þingvallavatn, Þingvellir is the national pride of Iceland and our first National Park. It is, for one, a key location in Icelandic history as the oldest existing parliament in the world first assembled there in 930 AD. For this reason, Þingvellir has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is, therefore, a protected national park due to its unique geology and natural features. From the viewing area the Almannagjá canyon between two tectonic plates can be seen, a visual representation of continental drift.

Geysir Geothermal Area

A favourite stop along the Golden Circle is the highly active Geysir Hot Spring Area with boiling mud pits and the lively Strokkur which spouts water 30 meters into the air every few minutes. The area became active more than 1000 years ago and comprises more than a dozen hot spring holes. Although one can only see steam emerging from the surface of Geysir these days, its name was adopted to represent spouting hot springs all over the world. Along the tour, the newly opened Geysir Center offers guests a chance to use the restroom and to catch some refreshments as well as lunch.

Gullfoss Waterfall

As one of the most popular attractions in all of Iceland, Gullfoss is a waterfall located in the Canyon of the Hvítá River in the southwest of the country. The beautiful Hvítá river rushes southward in three steps into a narrow canyon with a breath-taking roar and grandeur. Furthermore, on clear days the magnificent Langjökull glacier, Iceland's second largest glacier, can be seen in the distance.

The last stop on our tour, and the most relaxing, is the Secret Lagoon. Whatever the weather, this is the perfect spot for relaxing in between sightseeing and enjoying Icelandic nature. Indeed, the geothermal hot water which stays at a warm 38-40 celsius is a hidden treat that Icelanders have been enjoying for generations! Around the Secret Lagoon you can also find several hot spots, even a little Geysir that erupts every 5 minutes, showing off for the guests bathing in the hot spring.

The next day after check out from the hotel we transfer you back to the airport to catch your flight back to the UK.

Prices are based on 2 sharing and are based on London departures but we can offer this tour from the regional airports that serve Iceland. We can also offer this deal staying in your hotel of choice and upgrade to a 4* or we can offer apartments if you prefer. Please enquire.
