Warm Baths & Cool Lights - Nothern Lights & Spa
DESCRIPTION
While nature prepares to colour the sky with the magical Northern Lights, you enjoy relaxing in Laugarvatn Fontana´s open air geothermal baths and fill up your energy with from the local style buffet.
We stop in the quaint little town of Laugarvatn, famous for its natural sauna, built above a real live hot spring. The original sauna was built in the 1920s and was little more than a shack with two compartments, built above the hot spring that bubbles and gurgles below your feet. Today, however, it takes pride of place in the über-modern Fontana Laugarvatn, and is complemented by a dry sauna plus hot tubs of varying temperatures and descriptions.
Leaving Laugarvatn Fontana with a nourished body and satisfied soul, you take a tour around to provide your senses with the show of a lifetime as you experience the Northern Lights dance, just for you.
